Frequently asked questions

How do I make a care label?
Choose the washing, bleaching, drying, ironing and professional-care instructions from the dropdowns, add the fibre composition and size, then click Download PNG or Download PDF to get a print-ready label with the matching ISO 3758 symbols.
What do the laundry care symbols mean?
There are five families: a wash tub for washing, a triangle for bleaching, a square (with a circle inside for tumble drying) for drying, an iron for ironing, and a circle for professional cleaning. Dots show temperature, bars underneath show gentleness, and a cross means 'do not'. The care symbol guide on this page lists every symbol with its meaning.
What does the 30°C wash symbol mean?
A wash tub with '30' inside means machine wash at a maximum of 30°C. More dots or a higher number mean a hotter wash (40, 50, 60°C), and one or two bars under the tub mean a gentler, reduced-agitation cycle.
Are these care symbols standardised?
Yes — they follow the ISO 3758 / GINETEX standard used on clothing labels worldwide. Still verify the exact labelling requirements of your destination market before production, as some countries mandate specific wording or symbol variants.
Can I download the care label?
Yes. The label exports as a print-ready PDF or a PNG image, so you can print it onto garment labels or attach it to a product listing.
